OFFICIAL GUIDE

Free Trial Center Guide:
Apply Correctly to Improve Your Chances

Spots are limited. Applying the wrong way wastes opportunities. Follow the official process below.

Why so many applications never move forward

Every week, a large number of Free Trial requests are submitted. Many fail early because the profile is incomplete, the shipping address does not match the site country, the user applies after popular items are already full, or the review after delivery is too weak.

If you want better results, treat this as a clear process: apply early, respect the rules, and submit useful feedback every time you receive a product.

What the Free Trial Center is

The Free Trial Center is Shein’s official product testing area. Selected users can receive items at no cost and then share honest feedback based on real use. When an application is approved, the free order is created and shipped automatically.

Availability changes often and selection is competitive. Approval is never guaranteed. Your consistency, timing, and review quality all influence future chances.

Official step-by-step process

1

Enter the Free Trial Center

Sign in to your Shein account and open the Free Trial Center. You can also reach it from Personal Center → More Services → Other Services → Free Trial Center. Check which products are currently open for testing.

2

Apply to a maximum of 3 items per week

You receive 3 Free Trial opportunities each week. Unused chances do not accumulate. Click Free Trial, select the correct size, confirm a shipping address from the same country as the site you are using, and submit. If the address country does not match the site, the application may fail.

3

Track your result in My Free Trial

Most results appear in about one week. Go to My Free Trial / My Applications. Approved means you were selected and the free order is processed automatically. Failed means that specific application was not selected in that round.

4

Submit your review within 10 days

After the product arrives, test it in normal use and write a detailed review covering quality, style, fit, fabric, and construction. Add clear photos — ideally one full-body image and two detail shots. Submit through Post Report and monitor status under My Report. Complete this within 10 days. If the first report is rejected, you may receive one extra chance to resubmit.

How to write a review that supports future selection

Useful reviews are specific and honest. Share both strengths and weaknesses. Explain the fit, fabric feel, construction quality, and real-life performance. Real photos make a clear difference.

A passed report can earn 20 points. A Quality Report may add 100 extra points. Late or low-effort reviews can reduce your chances in later campaigns.

Rules that matter most

• Limit of 3 applications per week (they do not roll over)

• Shipping address must match the country of the Shein site you are using

• Shipping is covered by Shein; customs duty may still apply depending on location

• Reviews should be submitted within 10 days after delivery

• Fake accounts or multi-account activity can lead to bans

• Missing reviews hurts future selection chances

Mistakes that lower your odds

❌ Incomplete profile information

❌ Address from a different country than the site

❌ Applying days after a campaign already opened

❌ Short reviews with no useful detail or photos

❌ Missing the 10-day review window

❌ Long inactivity between applications

“I used to apply randomly and get rejected almost every time. Once I started applying as soon as products opened, used the correct country address, and sent detailed reviews with real photos on time, approvals became much more consistent.”
